Kirat Anand is a product-first commercial leader, venture capitalist, and operator who scales AI, SaaS, and enterprise commerce platforms from early product-market fit to durable enterprise adoption. He currently serves as a Venture Partner at Ajax Capital, a boutique venture firm focused on AI and frontier technologies, and is a Strategic Advisor to multiple high-growth enterprise AI and SaaS software vendors where he compresses the time from awareness and executive interest into production deployments for retailers and CPG brands.

Kirat brings a rare 360-degree lens to retail technology and innovation, spanning institutional investing, corporate retail leadership, and on-the-ground entrepreneurship. He previously served as Vice President & Head of General Merchandise Pricing Strategy & AI Solution at Walmart, where he led AI pricing transformation supporting a $140B+ P&L across 4,700+ stores and digital channels. Prior to Walmart, he was the President & Chief Commercial Officer of enterprise AI platform Competera, and spent over a decade as an entrepreneur as the Founder and CEO of KAS New York, building a multi-channel consumer business generating $100M+ in cumulative revenue.

An alumnus of JPMorgan’s Technology, Media, and Telecom Investment Banking group, Kirat holds a B.S. in Finance and Information Science & Systems from NYU Stern School of Business. He regularly advises executive leadership teams on AI-driven solutions and sits on multiple industry advisory boards, including the NY Fashion Tech Lab and NYU Stern’s MBA Fashion & Luxury Council.
