Brian Spencer is the Director of Product Marketing for Kroger’s retail media business, Kroger Precision Marketing (KPM).
Powered by data science, and Kroger’s popular loyalty card program, KPM connects consumers to brands through engaging moments that inspire purchasing online and in-store. Brands learn how their media investment drives meaningful metrics like incremental sales lift, return on ad spend, category share and household penetration shifts.
As a 20-year veteran in agency media planning, Brian is passionate about making media dollars work harder for brands. Today, he leads the team at KPM responsible for communicating how retail media fuels greater advertising impact by closing the loop between media exposure and store sales.
Prior to joining KPM in 2019, Brian led media planning at Geometry Global (now VMLY&R Commerce). He has directed media efforts for clients in automotive, consumer-packaged goods, pet, agricultural equipment, powersports, home-improvement, and retail.
