Eric’s career has been in building companies. In 2009, Eric, was one of the founders of EatStreet, an online food ordering and delivery service for restaurants. Eric (along with fellow Pear co-founder Alex Wyler) scaled EatStreet to supporting 15,000 restaurants nationwide with a diner base in the tens of millions, and transaction volumes north of a billion dollars. Last year, Andreesen Horowitz named Pear Commerce the 25th biggest digital marketplace in the United States.

After EatStreet, Eric spent a stint in startup investing, but realized his heart was in building, and went on to co-found Pear Commerce. Pear Commerce’s ambitious goal is to allow traditional, retail-centric CPG brands to run more “digitally natively” through technology-enabled cooperation with retailers. Pear Commerce has raised over $7.5 million and works with a large portfolio of CPG customers and retailer partners.
Eric has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
