Responsibilities
Jody is the Group Vice President of Product Experience for The Kroger Co., based in Cincinnati. She is responsible for defining and driving the seamless experience and capabilities for the company, ensuring the right solutions are built and optimized to serve customers, associates, and partners. This includes product strategy and planning, product management and design, digital shopping experience, and digital analytics. In this role, Jody partners with leadership across the enterprise to ensure customer and business needs are met.

Experience
Jody joined the company in 2014 to lead customer experience for Vitacost.com. She has more than 25 years of experience leading marketing, brand building, product management, and customer experience at consumer brands and e-commerce companies such as Amazon, The North Face, and AT&T. During her tenure at Amazon, Jody led product management and developed Target.com on the Amazon platform. She was named Vice President of Digital Site Experience for Kroger’s Corporate Marketing team in 2016 and Vice President of Digital Experience in 2017 before being promoted to her most recent role as Group Vice President of Product Experience.

Recognition
In 2020, Jody was named to Progressive Grocer’s Top Women in Grocery, Senior-level Executive. In 2019, she was inducted into the Path to Purchase Institute’s Hall of Fame and is a member of the Network of Executive Women. Among her responsibilities, Kalmbach serves on the boards of the Kroger Foundation and Kroger Personal Finance business. She is also a member of Kroger's Senior Executive Advisory Board, providing diverse executive-level perspective and guidance to Kroger's DE&I Advisory Council and Associate Resource Group Steering Committee for 2024-2025.

Additionally, Jody serves as the Executive Sponsor of the ITOPiA Associate Resource Group, which empowers and supports introverts through education, career development, and leadership opportunities. This group strives to create a culture where the unique contributions of both introverts and extroverts are equally balanced, acknowledged, and valued. Jody is also the Chair of the 2025 Heart Mini-Marathon & Walk for the American Heart Association.
