Ethan is a renowned marketing strategist with deep expertise in digital and shopper marketing. He has been named a "Young Influential" by Adweek magazine, a "Who's Who in Shopper Marketing" by Path to Purchase IQ magazine and a "Faculty Member" by the Path to Purchase Institute, and is a frequent speaker at conferences and contributor to industry publications. He currently serves as SVP of Commerce Media at The Mars Agency (TMA) - a top global shopper marketing agency. In this capacity, he leads a team of talented media planners and buyers in deploying best-in-class omni-channel shopper experiences that drive conversion at retail for TMA's key clients. Prior to taking on that role, he built, grew and managed TMA's E-Commerce and Innovation practice groups, and guided the team that created SmartAisle - the world's first voice-powered shopping assistant for brick & mortar retailers. He was also Managing Director of Mars Ventures, the agency's venture capital arm that invested in and partnered with promising "MarTech" startups to bring bleeding-edge innovation to key clients. Additionally, he spent 4 years in the Digital Strategy group at Leo Burnett | Arc Worldwide, devising and implementing breakthrough, results-driving digital programs for various Fortune 100 clients. He is a proud graduate of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan (BBA '05), a devout Michigan Football fan and an avid skier. He currently resides in Ann Arbor, MI, with his wife Jodi, son Micah and Goldendoodle Maizey.
