He previously was an executive at NextNav, an infrastructure services company building the next generation of GPS. There he led the Business Development and Partnerships organization, primarily focused on its z-axis (vertical dimension) solution with wireless carriers, first responder solution providers, game developers, location data solution providers, IOT asset tracking solutions and WiFi services.
Dan spent seven years as an executive of GroundTruth (formerly xAd), where he oversaw multiple lines of business during his tenure. He built their programmatic and partnership business into $40M+ revenue lines leveraging GroundTruth technology and data solutions. Dan led GroundTruth’s channel partnership strategy working with traditional media companies and out-of-home media companies in efforts to amplify their reach in mobile location advertising.
He also spent nine years at Thryv (formerly Verizon Information Services/Idearc/SuperMedia), where, as Director of National Sales, he led the digital sales force in targeting agencies for local search advertising. After increasing revenue over 400%, to more than $50 million, he was named Director of Strategic Marketing, where he oversaw partnerships and helped lead digital strategy. Dan also works with Localogy, a not for profit organization supporting media companies, agencies and SaaS providers that cater to the Local ecosystem. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of North Texas.
